All our bags are packed. we're ready to go ...

Short blog update tonight.

Well can't really believe it, but the time has come to put the troopy on charge & put to rest in the back yard.

Troopy parked in back yard. Max keeping guard!
Bags are tightly fitted into the VW boot - got a German address on them too.

Loaded up Golf Gt.

Steve's bike shed is full - certainly no room to swing a cat.  Oh bad luck Africa Twin you won't fit.

A full bike shed.

Well still more room when some HPN's go home.

Stephen and I had an enjoyable brunch at the Water Tank Cafe with some of the Ulysses club riders here in Alice Springs. Was a most relaxing morning, especially as we knew that the Hentley On Todd, dry river bed boating regatta was in full swing.  Scouting families in our Scout Group would be flat out cooking and serving customers at this event. We felt a little guilty, but not too much ;)

After brunch we went home to finalise our pack, and we have done this now.
Of course on the last day here (for a few months) in The Alice, just when we need the printer to work it went on the blink!  Steve has spent the last 2 hours repairing the damn thing....can't give Leticia any excuses to not have her homework printed out!!
Ended up with two faults, one was the WiFi card causing the printer to fail (no more POST ? what ever that means) and in fixing this caused another problem with the print cartridges (stephen says it was the grey scale sensor ?, again what ever).

Anyhow the printer is now back up and working, which is good, we need to scan some of our paperwork too.

Well thats all for now.

Next Blog udate will be in a foreign land...

Our Kids, (lhs-rhs) Leticia, Chantelle, Bradley. Also Max and Mia (GSD's) luv the park too!

Cheers,
Debbie and Stephen.
